Abstract: We survey some recent results about lattice gauge theories with finite gauge groups. These include computation of observables and decay of correlations for these theories in various settings. We will then cover some proof ideas for lattice Higgs models, as well as for pure lattice gauge theories with finite non-Abelian gauge groups.
